Find Device (Bluetooth search nearby)

With the "Find Device" feature you can find your tracker when it is close to you, for example in your home, in the car or in tall grass. The search uses Bluetooth, so it also works when the GPS location is inaccurate.

Requirements:

• The LocoGPS app on your smartphone (the feature is not available in the browser)
• An LV2 tracker that is switched on and within Bluetooth range
• Bluetooth permission for the app

How to find your device

1. Select your device on the map.
2. Tap "Locate" (Bluetooth icon).
3. The app searches for the tracker and shows you the signal strength:
   • Very close
   • Nearby
   • Further away
4. As you move, the app shows you whether you are getting closer or moving away.
5. Use "Play Sound" to make the tracker beep so you can find it over the last few metres.

Tip: If the tracker is not found, make sure it is switched on and really nearby. The Bluetooth range depends a lot on walls and other obstacles.
