Light and sound

The light and sound features help you find your device more easily when it is nearby, for example in the dark or in tall grass.

Turn on the light

1. Select your device on the map.
2. In the control bar, tap the Light button (light bulb icon).
3. The LED on the tracker lights up.
4. To turn it off, tap the button again.

Turn on the sound

1. Select your device on the map.
2. In the control bar, tap the Sound button (speaker icon).
3. The tracker beeps.
4. To turn it off, tap the button again.

Note: The device must be online for the commands to reach it. For devices that are offline or in deep sleep, the buttons are disabled.

Tip: When you are out and about with the LocoGPS app and the tracker is within Bluetooth range, the Find Device feature also helps you find it.
