Start a walk

With Walk mode you can follow your dog live on a walk and get a particularly accurate route.

Good to know: Your walks are detected automatically even without Walk mode and show up in Activities. Walk mode is optional and worth using when you want to watch live while you are out or record a particularly detailed route.

Start a walk

1. Select your device on the Map.
2. In the control bar, tap the WALK button (paw icon).
3. Confirm the start in the dialog.

What happens during a walk?

• Your tracker sends its location every 10 seconds.
• The walk is recorded as an accurate route.
• A timer on the button shows how long the walk has been running.

End a walk

The walk ends in one of two ways:

• At the tap of a button: Tap the WALK button again.
• Automatically: As soon as your dog has been resting for a longer time, but after 2 hours at the latest, so the battery is spared.

Once the walk has ended, you will find it with its route, duration and distance under Activities.

Note: Because of the short reporting interval, a walk uses more battery than normal operation.
